HOW TO REGISTER

To enjoy the benefits of being registered, you will need to create an account. You can do it from the "My account" section that you will find in the Main Menu of our website. It's very simple!

RING SIZE

WHAT IS MY SIZE

The sizes of our rings correspond to the standard sizing, and in almost all models we have sizes from 8 to 20, in even numbers: 8 / 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 / 18 and 20.

The ring should fit your finger comfortably, snug enough not to fall off, but loose enough to slip over your knuckle.

HERE you can find a Size Chart to make it easier for you to know yours. You can download it in case you need to send it or prefer to look at it at another time.

The rings one size fits all, are adjustable. They are designed to fit sizes between 10 and 16. If you have another size, contact us at info@ainabarcelona.com to check if that model fits your size or if it is necessary to tailor it.

EQUIVALENCE WITH OTHER COUNTRIES

I CAN'T FIND MY SIZE

If you cannot find your size because it is odd or higher/lower than the sizes we have available, you must select the "Other size" option.

You will see a drop-down menu in which you can indicate the size in which you need the ring.

The delivery time for rings larger than a size 20 is 30 days from the moment the order is placed. Each piece is made to order and we need preparation time. If you need it sooner, send us an email to info@ainabarcelona.com or contact us and we'll tell you if it's possible.
The additional cost for custom-made rings is 10 Euros.

I MADE THE WRONG SIZE, CAN I CHANGE IT?

If your ring is not personalized, you can change the size of your ring as many times as you need, as long as the ring is in perfect condition and you pay for the shipping and return costs. You can do it in the physical store, for free or through messenger. The price of making each change through courier is 11 Euros and we take care of sending you the new ring and picking up the ring that doesn't suit you.

If you have personalized your ring with an engraving or other option, write to us at info@ainabarcelona.com to see if it would be possible to make the change and what it would cost since it is not always possible. In any case, the cost of making the change through courier is 11 Euros + the cost of the size change.

ONLINE ORDERS

PAYMENT METHODS

We currently accept payments by credit card, Paypal, iDEAL and SOFORT Banking. If you prefer to make a bank transfer, you can send us an email to info@ainabarcelona.com

HOW WILL I KNOW THAT I HAVE PLACED MY ORDER CORRECTLY?

When you place an order, we will send you a confirmation email with all the details of your order

If 2 hours after placing the order you have not received the confirmation email, write to us at info@ainabarcelona.com as it may not have been done correctly.

Once the order has left our warehouse, the courier company will send you an email with your tracking number so that you can track the shipment.

From that moment, Aina Barcelona is not responsible for any incident caused by the shipment. Any incident during shipping must be managed with the courier company. For our part, we will facilitate, as far as possible, the management of the incident.

ARE THE ARTICLES INCLUDED IN THE CART ARE RESERVED AUTOMATICALLY?

No, adding an item to the cart does not reserve it. It is possible that you are making a purchase and at the time of payment, one of the items you had selected is out of stock.

We work hard to always have stock of all pieces and sizes, so we will try to make it never happen! :)

In order to see the pieces included in your Wishlist, you just have to click on the heart that is located in the upper right part of the web page, next to the shopping cart.

WHAT DO WE CONSIDER CUSTOM ORDERS?

We consider custom orders:

  • Those made at the client's request.

  • Non-standard custom-made posts at the client's request.

  • The engravings.

  • All those found in the "Custom" section of the web.

CAN I MODIFY OR CANCEL MY ORDER ONCE IT IS PLACED?

Yeah!!! If your order has not yet been prepared and/or shipped, you can modify and/or cancel it. To do this, contact us as soon as possible through our email info@ainabarcelona.com

Unfortunately, once the order has left our offices, it is impossible to stop the purchase, so if you do not want the purchased product, you must make a RETURN once you receive the order.

In the case of personalized orders, contact us as soon as possible if you want to cancel it, but once it has entered the workshop it cannot be modified or cancelled.

CAN I CHANGE MY DELIVERY ADDRESS?

Yeah!! If your order has not yet been shipped, you can change your delivery address. To do this, contact us as soon as possible through our email info@ainabarcelona.com

Unfortunately, once the order has left our offices you will have to pay the shipping costs again if you want to change the address, since the transport company counts it as a new shipment. In addition, the delivery time will also be extended due to the change.

PREPARATION TIMES

Non-personalisedorders made before 12 o'clock in the morning are prepared that same day. Those that are carried out later are prepared during the next working day (Monday to Friday).

Custom orders are made one by one, so they require a longer processing time, which is generally 3-4 weeks. The estimated time for that specific product is indicated in the description of each product.

*On certain dates (Black Friday, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day) preparation times may not be respected, but we will try to get orders out as quickly as we can.

HOW IS MY ORDER PACKAGING LIKE?

All our pieces are individually packaged in a turquoise recycled cardboard box, and all of them (in case you have bought more than one product) go inside a kraft cardboard box with the logo and a turquoise handle that protects them during the journey and is perfect to use as a gift bag.

We eliminate everything unnecessary from our packaging to reduce our impact on the environment.

But if you also want one or more Gift bags, by entering the word "bag" in the search engine you can add the ones you want to your basket, and you will receive them folded so that you can prepare your gift at home before delivering it (with an added cost of 1 euro per bag).

HOW CAN I REQUEST AN INVOICE?

You can request it by sending an email to info@ainabarcelona.com indicating the order number and all your tax information.

CAN I BUY A GIFT CARD?

Yes!! You can now buy your gift card. You can do it:
- Clicking HERE.
- Through the search engine of our website, indicating “gift card”
- In the main menu
You will receive it by email in 24/48h from the moment of making the purchase.

DOES IT HAVE AN EXPIRATION DATE?

No! :) Our gift cards do not have an expiration date.

HOW DOES THE GIFT CARD WORK?

  1. First you must buy your gift card (You can do it HERE)
    We will send you a purchase confirmation email, indicating that you have correctly purchased the gift card.

  2. We will send you a second email with your gift card (between 24/48h after placing the order), which has a 12-digit code.

  3. A) ONLINE: When you make a purchase through the web, at the end of the order, once you have entered your personal data, the option to enter your gift card code will appear.

  4. B) PHYSICALLY: You can use it in our store at Calle Ciutat de Balaguer 45.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE PURCHASE VALUE IS LESS THAN THAT OF THE GIFT CARD?

Don't worry!

You can use the remaining amount of your gift card on your next purchases. You just have to enter the code again.

WHAT HAPPENS IF THE PURCHASE VALUE IS GREATER THAN THE GIFT CARD?

In that case, you will have to pay the difference. You can pay it using any of the payment methods we accept.

SHIPMENTS

TRANSPORT COMPANIES

For shipments to Spain we use the services of Correos Express.

Shipments to Europe are made with the company UPS.

For shipments to the Canary Islands, Andorra and others, we use the Post Office services.

DELIVERY TIMES

Deliveries in Spain (Balearic Islands included) and Portugal are made in the following 24/48 hours from when your order leaves our warehouse.

Deliveries to the Canary Islands and Andorra are made in the following 5/7 days from when your order leaves our warehouse.

Deliveries in Europe are made in the following 2/4 days from when your order leaves our warehouse, except in some cases in which shipping can take up to 5 days.

Others: 20 days - 1 month approximately.

*On certain dates (Black Friday, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day.) shipping times may not be respected, but we will try to get orders out as fast as we can.

SHIPPING COSTS

Orders over €150 have no shipping costs. (Shipping to Spain and Andorra).

For shipments to Spain (Balearic and Canary Islands included), Andorra and Portugal, shipping costs are 5.50 Euros.

Other rates for shipments to:

  • Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands: 12 euros (48h/72h)

  • Italy and France: 9.80 euros (48h/72h)

  • United Kingdom: 15 euros (5-7 days)
  • Canada, USA, Mexico: 25 euros
  • Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Czechia, Hungary, Greece, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Lithuania: 16 euros

PICKUP IN PHYSICAL STORE

You can pick up your order at our store at Calle Ciutat de Balaguer nº 45. Our hours are from Monday to Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.30 p.m.

If you are from Barcelona or its surroundings, the website itself will let you select the option "Pick up in store".

First you must fill in your details and then you can choose between Pick up in store or Shipping.

In the event that this option does not appear, you can make the purchase with shipping and in the section "Add a note to your order" you indicate that you will pick it up at the store. When you come to pick it up, we will refund the amount paid for shipping.

Once your order is ready, we will notify you so that you can come and pick it up.

CHANGES AND RETURNS

CAN I EXCHANGE ONE PRODUCT FOR ANOTHER?

Products non-personalized can be exchanged. The change can be made for free in the physical store or by courier with shipping costs.

There are two ways to make the change by messaging:

1. Send us the product by certified mail, in a protected envelope, to the following address: Aina Barcelona, ​​Carrer Ciutat de Balaguer 45, 08022 Barcelona. Please attach a note inside with your contact details so we know it's you! :) When we receive it and verify that it is in good condition, we will send you the new one. The cost of the shipping service is 5.50 Euros.

2. The courier company can pick up the product at your home and bring you the new product, in two different routes.

We will still need you to attach a note inside with your contact details to identify yourself, please.The cost of the collection and delivery service is 11 Euros.

Products customized cannot be exchanged or returned, as they are made-to-measure orders and from scratch, made especially for you. If you have any questions, you can send us an email to info@ainabarcelona.com with the reason for your change or return and we will assess your specific case.

If you have a problem with the size of a ring, you can also ask us if it would be possible to adjust it to your size, it may entail an additional cost.



ARE RETURNS AVAILABLE?


As a consumer, you have the right to return your non-personalized ONLINE order within a maximum period of 14 calendar days from receipt of the order.

To do this, contact us as soon as possible through our email info@ainabarcelona.com or visit our physical store.

Shipping and return costs are the responsibility of the customer.

The products must be returned keeping the original packaging.

Once we have received the returned products and we have been able to check their good condition, the payment will be refunded in a period of less than 14 calendar days.

Products personalized cannot be returned as we have detailed in the previous point, since they are custom orders made especially for you. If you have any questions, you can send us an email to info@ainabarcelona.com with the reason for your return and we will assess your specific case.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER IS DAMAGED/WRONG?

We strive to ensure that no product reaches its destination in poor condition. However, should this happen, contact us HERE or by email info@ainabarcelona.com, within a maximum period of 48 hours from the moment the order is received.

We will need you to tell us: Order number, description of the damage, why you would like to change another product and that you attach a photo that shows the damage / mistake.

We will reply as soon as possible giving you a solution.

* Damage caused by use itself is not a reason for claim.

CARE OF JEWELRY

DAY-TO-DAY CARE

The jewels made by Aina Barcelona are made from noble and delicate materials, so they must be put to good use. There are some actions that can improve the state of our jewelry:
  • Keep them in a cool, dry place to prevent oxidation.
  • Keep them separately so they don't scratch each other.
  • Do not expose them to chemical products such as perfumes, soaps, creams, detergents.
  • Avoid playing sports with jewelry on so that sweat does not corrode it.
  • Avoid hitting or pulling.
  • Do not bathe in hot springs with jewelry on.
  • Clean them frequently to maintain their shine.

HOW DO I CLEAN MY JEWELRY?

If your jewelry has lost its shine or blackened, use a cotton cloth with a special impregnation that perfectly cleans your jewelry, like THIS one.

There are chamois that are more suitable for cleaning silver jewelry and others for gold jewelry.

CAN I SWIM IN THE SEA OR IN THE POOL?

Yeah!! Sea water and chlorine do not oxidize silver or gold, so there is no problem.

Silver can oxidize if it is immersed in hot springs.

IS IT NORMAL FOR SILVER TO DARKEN?

Yeah!! The fact that the silver darkens is something completely normal and that does not mean that it is of poor quality or has been damaged. It is simply a chemical reaction of this metal in air.

The good thing is that it has a very easy solution!

FACTORS THAT CAUSE THE DARKENING OF SILVER

There are many factors that can accelerate the darkening of silver, some depend on us and can be remedied and others are unavoidable:
  • PH of the skin
  • Sweat
  • Perfume / makeup / creams
  • The water in our area
  • Your storage location
  • Thermal springs

MATERIALS WE WORK WITH

WHICH KIND OF GOLD DO WE WORK WITH?

18KT GOLD

At AiNA BARCELONA we work with 18kt gold . That means that it is gold made up of 75% pure gold and 25% other metals that harden it.

Pure gold, also called 24kt, is very soft. In order to work with it in the world of jewelry, we must harden it, mixing it with other metals. It is in this way that we obtain 18kt gold.

If a piece is less than 18kt, it means that it contains less % of pure gold and more % of other metals.


9KT GOLD

9k gold is one in which for every 24k, 9 are pure gold. The remaining 15 parts are made up of other metals. In this way, the nobility of the material and its quality are maintained for many years.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YELLOW, WHITE OR PINK GOLD?

As we have said, 18kt gold is made up of 75% pure gold and 25% of other metals that harden it. From this 25% of metals we obtain the different colors of gold:
  • Gold Yellow: It is obtained from the mixture of pure gold, copper and silver.
  • Gold White : It is obtained from the mixture of pure gold, palladium and silver.
  • Gold Rose: Obtained from the mixture of pure gold, copper.
IS IT TRUE THAT WHITE GOLD GOES AWAY?

There is a belief that white gold “goes away” with the passage of time. This is not so, since it is white by its composition. What happens is that white gold rings have a rhodium bath, which is what gives them their final color and shine.

This layer of rhodium is the one that disappears over time and depending on various factors such as sweat, the PH of the skin or the use that is given to the jewel, and that is why it gives the impression that the ring is "worn" or aged. With a new rhodium plating, which is usually not very expensive, the ring looks like new again.

DO WE CARRY OUT GOLD PLATING?

We don't usually work with gold baths because in the long run the gold goes away and we don't like the result of our jewelry to be lost over time.

That is why, in principle, we do not carry out this type of work.

WITH WHAT TYPE OF SILVER DO WE WORK?

We work with 925 silver, that is, sterling silver.

Sterling silver is that silver alloy that has a 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper.

WHICH KIND OF STONES DO WE WORK WITH?

As with the rest of the materials we work with, we look for very high quality stones, so that the final result is the one desired by the client.

PRECIOUS GEMS:

Ruby:

His name comes from the Latin “ruber” which means red .

It is a type of corundum mineral, (same as sapphire), formed by mixing iron and chromium.

It is extremely hard, second only to diamond.

Emerald:

Her name comes from Persian, which means green stone .

A favorite of the royals. One of the largest in the world belonged to the Russian Empress Catherine the Great.

There are several types of emeralds: Colombian, Brazilian, Chinese, African and Afghan.

They have different shades of green.

It tends to be more delicate.

Sapphire:

Its name comes from the Latin “sapphirùs” and also from the Hebrew “chappir” which means neat.

Shares family with ruby ​​since they come from corundum. Corundum minerals of all colors are called sapphire, except for red, which is called ruby.

Black Diamond:

The difference with the classic diamond is that in the composition of the black there is granite. They are also obtained by a heating treatment.

They didn't become popular in the jewelry arena until the late 1990s.

SEMI-PRECIOUS GEMS:

Onyx:

It is a dark colored variety of agate.

Its name comes from the Greek “onux” which means claw / nail.

Composed of silica.

It is of volcanic origin, from the accumulation of volcanic gases


Lapis Lazuli:

Its name comes from the Latin “lapis” and also from the Persian “lahzward”, which means blue.

Favorite of the pharaohs in Ancient Egypt. An example of this is the funeral mask of Tutankhamun, made of gold and adorned with lapis lazuli or the famous beetles.

Azurite is the powder that was obtained from this stone to be able to paint.

Cobaltocalcite:

It is a variety of calcite with a small cobalt content.

Its name comes from the German “kobalt” which means goblin and the Latin “calx” which means lime.

Varies in color between light pink and deep fuchsia.

Topaz:

Its name derives from Topazos Island in the Red Sea.

Sometimes it has been confused with diamond, as in the case of the Braganza Diamond, .

It is a very hard stone, but it fractures easily.

Turquoise:

Its name comes from the French, “pierre turquoise”, which means Turkish stone, since they believed that the stones came from Turkey, despite the fact that there are no turquoise deposits in Turkey.

It is not a very hard stone.

Uvarotiva:

It belongs to the group of garnets

It was discovered in 1832 in the Urals and named after Count Sergei Semenovitch Uvarov, a Russian mineral collector.

It is made up of small emerald green crystals that densely cover a matrix.

Tourmaline:

Its name comes from the Senegalese, “turmali”, which means mixed colored stone

It is not a single mineral, but rather a group of several minerals.

JEWELRY RECYCLING

We can take advantage of your old jewels, with emotional value, to restore them, fix them, improve them or even undo them and make something new and completely different from what they were. It is a 100% made-to-measure job, which requires a lot of time and effort but which, without a doubt, is what we like to do the most!

CAN I BRING MY OWN JEWELRY OR MATERIAL?

Yes!! We can use your material to make new jewelry. Once the material has been analyzed, we will tell you if we can use it and if it is enough for the idea you have in mind.

CAN I BRING MY OWN SILVER?

No… We are sorry but the value of silver is not so high that it is profitable for us to analyze it piece by piece, melt it down and create new jewels…
We do recycle silver from defective, old or broken products, but always in large quantities.

IS IT ESSENTIAL TO COME TO THE STORE IN PERSON?

No!!:) Although we always prefer a personalized visit behind closed doors in order to understand each other better, you can also talk by mail / phone and we can even make an appointment by Skype / Zoom.

DO YOU WORK WITH ALL KINDS OF STONES?

We work with precious and semi-precious stones.But that does not mean that if you bring us a stone with meaning for you, we can incorporate it into your new jewel :)
