HOW TO REGISTER
To enjoy the benefits of being registered, you will need to create an account. You can do it from the “My account” section that you will find in the Main Menu of our website. It's very simple!
If you prefer, you can register HERE.
** If you do not register, even if you enter your information when placing an order through the website, you will not be registering as a user.
** If you register now with an email, you will be able to see all the orders previously placed with that same email.
ADVANTAGES OF REGISTERING :) There are many advantages of registering:

IF I REGISTER AND CREATE AN ACCOUNT, WILL I RECEIVE THE NEWSLETTER AUTOMATICALLY?
No... We need your explicit permission to send you our Newsletter. You can give it to us by indicating your email in the “Subscribe to our newsletter” section that you will find at the bottom of any of the screens on our website.

RING SIZE
WHAT IS MY SIZE
The sizes of our rings correspond to the standard size, and in almost all models we have sizes from 8 to 20, in even numbers: 8 / 10 / 12 / 14 / 16 / 18 and 20.
The ring should fit your finger comfortably, tight enough so it doesn't fall off, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle.
HERE you can find a Size Chart to make it easier for you to know yours. You can download it in case you need to send it or prefer to look at it at another time.
The rings one size fits all, are adjustable. They are designed to fit sizes between 10 and 16. If you have another size, contact us at info@ainabarcelona.com to check if that model is right for you. your size or if it is necessary to put it to measure.

I CAN'T FIND MY SIZE
If you cannot find your size because it is odd or higher/lower than the sizes we have available, you must select the “Other size” option.
A drop-down menu will appear in which you can indicate the size in which you need the ring.
The delivery time for rings larger than size 20 is 30 days from the time of placing the order. Each piece is made to order and we need preparation time. If you need it sooner, send us an email to info@ainabarcelona.com or contact us and we will tell you if it is possible.
The additional cost for handmade rings measure is 10 Euros.
I HAVE WRONG SIZE, CAN I CHANGE IT?
If your ring is not personalized , you can change the size of your ring as many times as you need, as long as the ring is in perfect condition and you are responsible of shipping and return costs. You can do it in the physical store, for free or through a courier.

The price of making each change through courier is 11 Euros and we will take care of sending you the new ring and picking up the ring that doesn't fit you.
If you have personalised your ring using an engraving or other option, write to us at info@ainabarcelona.com to see if it would be possible to make the change and what the cost would be since it is not always possible. In any case, the cost of making the change via courier is 11 Euros + the cost of changing the size.

PAYMENT METHODS
We currently accept payments by credit card, Paypal, iDEAL and SOFORT Banking.If you prefer to make a bank transfer, you can send us an email to info@ainabarcelona.com
HOW WILL I KNOW I HAVE PLACED MY ORDER CORRECTLY?
When you place an order, we will send you a confirmation email with all the information about your order
If within 2 hours of placing the order you have not received the confirmation email, write to us at info@ainabarcelona.com as it is possible that was not done correctly.
Once the order has left our warehouse, the courier company will send you an email with your tracking number so you can track the shipment.
From that moment on, Aina Barcelona is not responsible for any incident caused by the shipment. Any incident during shipping must be managed with the courier company. For our part, we will facilitate, as far as possible, the management of the incident.
ARE THE ITEMS INCLUDED IN THE CART AUTOMATICALLY RESERVED?
No, including an item in the cart does not reserve it. It is possible that you are making a purchase and at the time of payment, one of the items you had selected has been sold out.
We work hard to always have stock of all the pieces and sizes, so we will try to make sure this never happens! :)
MY WISHLIST
If you really like one of our pieces but want to buy it later, you can save it to your wish list by clicking on the little heart that appears next to each product.
To see the pieces included in your Wishlist, you just have to click on the heart located in the upper right part of the website, next to the shopping cart.

CAN I CHANGE OR CANCEL MY ORDER ONCE PLACED?
Yes!!! If your order has not yet been prepared and/or shipped, you can modify and/or cancel it. To do this, contact us as soon as possible through our email info@ainabarcelona.com
Unfortunately, once the order has left our offices, it is impossible to stop the purchase, so if you do not want the purchased product, you must make a RETURN once you receive the order.
In the case of personalized orders, contact us as soon as possible if you want to cancel it, but once it has entered the workshop it cannot be modified or canceled.
CAN I CHANGE MY DELIVERY ADDRESS?
Unfortunately, once the order has left our offices you will have to pay the shipping costs again if you want to change the address, since the transport company counts it as a new shipment. In addition, the delivery time will also be extended due to the change.
PREPARATION TIMES
Orders personalized are made one by one, so they require a longer processing time, which is generally 3-4 weeks. The estimated time for that specific product is indicated in the description of each product.
*On designated dates (Black Friday, Christmas, Valentine's Day, the Mother) it is possible that preparation times cannot be respected, but we will try to get orders out as quickly as we can.
HOW IS THE PACKAGING OF MY ORDER?
All our pieces are individually packaged in a turquoise recycled cardboard box, and all of them (in case you have purchased more than one product) go inside a kraft cardboard box with the logo and turquoise handle that It protects during the journey and is perfect to use as a gift bag.
We eliminate everything unnecessary from our packaging to reduce our impact on the environment.
But if you also want one or more gift bags, by entering the word "bag" in the search engine you can add the ones you want to your basket, and you will receive them folded so that you can prepare your gift at home before delivering it (with an added cost of 1 euro per bag).
HOW CAN I REQUEST AN INVOICE?

DOES IT HAVE AN EXPIRATION DATE?
HOW DOES THE GIFT CARD WORK?

We will send you a purchase confirmation email, indicating that you have purchased the gift card correctly. -
We will send you a second email with your gift card (between 24h/48h after placing the order), which has a 12-digit code.

A) ONLINE: When you make a purchase through the website, at the end of the order, once you have entered your personal information, you will be presented with the option to enter the code for your gift card.

B) PHYSICALLY: You can use it in our store on Calle Ciutat de Balaguer 45.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE PURCHASE VALUE IS LOWER THAN THE GIFT CARD?
Don't worry!
You can use the remaining amount of your gift card on your next purchases. You will only have to re-enter its code.
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE PURCHASE VALUE IS HIGHER THAN THE GIFT CARD?
In that case, you must pay the difference. You can pay it using any of the payment methods we accept.
SHIPMENTS
TRANSPORT COMPANIES
For shipments to Spain we use the services of Correos Express.
Shipping to Europe is made with the company UPS.
For shipments to the Canary Islands, Andorra and others, we use the services of Correos.

DELIVERY TIMES
Deliveries in Spain (Balearic Islands included) and Portugal are made within the next 24/48 hours from when your order leaves our warehouse.
Deliveries to the Canary Islands and Andorra are made within the next 5/7 days from when your order leaves our warehouse.
Deliveries in Europe are made within 2/4 days from when your order leaves our warehouse, except in some cases in which shipping may take up to 5 days.
Others: 20 days - approximately 1 month.
*On specific dates (Black Friday, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day...) it is possible that shipping times cannot be respected, but we will try to get orders out as quickly as we can.

SHIPPING COSTS
Orders over €150 do not have shipping costs. (Shipping to Spain and Andorra).
For shipments to Spain (Balearic Islands and Canary Islands included), Andorra and Portugal, shipping costs are 5.50 Euros.
Other rates for shipments to:

PICK UP IN PHYSICAL STORE
You can pick up your order at our store on Calle Ciutat de Balaguer nº 45. Our hours are Monday to Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
If you are from Barcelona or surrounding areas, the website itself will let you select the “Pick up in store” option.
First you must fill out your information and then you can choose between Store Pickup or Shipping.
If this option does not appear, you can make the purchase with shipping and in the “Add a note to your order” section you tell us that you will pick it up at the store. When you come to pick it up, we will refund the amount paid for shipping.
Once your order is ready, we will notify you so you can come pick it up.
EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
CAN I EXCHANGE ONE PRODUCT FOR ANOTHER?
Non-personalized products can be exchanged. The exchange can be made free of charge in the physical store or by courier with shipping costs.
There are three ways to make the change by messaging:

2. Send us the product by certified mail, in a protected envelope, to the following address: Aina Barcelona, Carrer Ciutat de Balaguer 45, 08022 Barcelona. Please attach a note inside with your contact information so we know it's you! :) When we receive it and check that it is in good condition, we will send you the new one. The cost of the shipping service is 5.50 Euros.
3. The courier company can pick up the product at your home and bring you the new product, in two different routes.
We will also need you to attach a note inside with your contact information to identify yourself, please. The cost of the collection and delivery service is 11 Euros.
Personalized products cannot be exchanged or returned, as they are custom orders made from scratch, specially made for you. If you have any questions, you can send us an email to info@ainabarcelona.com con with the reason for your exchange or return and we will evaluate your specific case.
If you have a problem with the size of a ring, you can also ask us if it would be possible to adjust it to your size, it may entail an additional cost.
CAN RETURNS BE MADE?
As a consumer, you have the right to return your order not personalized ONLINE within a maximum period of 14 calendar days counting from the receipt of the same.
To do this, contact us as soon as possible through our email info@ainabarcelona.com or come to our physical store .
Shipping and return costs are the responsibility of the customer.
The products must be returned preserving the original packaging.
Once we have received the returned products and have been able to check their good condition, the payment will be refunded in a period of less than 14 calendar days.
Personalized products cannot be returned as we have detailed in the previous point, since they are custom orders made especially for you. If you have any questions, you can send us an email to info@ainabarcelona.com con with the reason for your return and we will evaluate your specific case.
WHAT HAPPENS IF MY ORDER IS DAMAGED/WRONG?
We strive to ensure that no product reaches its destination in poor condition. However, if this happens, please contact us HERE or by email info@ainabarcelona.com, in a maximum period of 48 hours from the moment of receipt of the order.
We will need you to tell us: Order number, description of the damage, why another product you would like to exchange it for and that you attach a photo in which the damage / mistake can be seen.
We will respond to you as soon as possible giving you a solution.
* Damage caused by use itself is not a reason for claims.

JEWELRY CARE
DAY TO DAY CARE
- Store them in a cool, dry place to avoid oxidation.
- Store them separately so they don't scratch each other.
- Do not expose them to chemicals such as perfumes, soaps, creams, detergents.
- Avoid doing sports with jewelry on so that sweat does not corrode them.
- Avoid knocks or pulls.
- Do not bathe in hot springs with jewelry on.
- Clean them frequently to maintain their shine.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY JEWELRY?
If your jewelry has lost its shine or has become blackened, use a cotton chamois with special impregnation that perfectly cleans your jewelry, like THIS .
There are chamois cloths that are more suitable for cleaning silver jewelry and others for gold jewelry.
CAN I SWIM IN THE SEA OR IN THE POOL?
Yes!! Sea water and chlorine do not oxidize silver or gold, so there is no problem.
Silver can oxidize if it is immersed in hot springs.
IS IT NORMAL FOR SILVER TO DARKEN?
The good thing is that it has a very easy solution!

MATERIALS WE WORK WITH
WHAT TYPE OF GOLD DO WE WORK WITH?
18KT GOLD
At AiNA BARCELONA we work with 18kt gold. That means that it is gold composed of 75% pure gold and 25% of other metals that harden it.
Pure gold, also called 24kt, is very soft. In order to work with it in the world of jewelry we must harden it, mixing it with other metals. This is how we obtain 18kt gold.
If a piece is less than 18kt, it means that it contains less % of pure gold and more % of other metals.
9KT GOLD
9k gold is that in which for every 24k, 9 are pure gold. The remaining 15 parts are made up of other metals. In this way the nobility of the material and its quality are maintained for many years.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN YELLOW, WHITE OR ROSE GOLD?
- Gold Yellow: It is obtained from the mixture of pure gold, copper and silver.
- Gold White : It is obtained from a mixture of pure gold, palladium and silver.
- Gold Pink: It is obtained from the mixture of pure gold, copper.
There is a belief that white gold “fades” over time. This is not the case, since it is white due to its composition. What happens is that white gold rings have a rhodium plating, which is what gives them their final color and shine.
This layer of rhodium is what disappears over time and depending on several factors such as sweat, the PH of the skin or the use given to the jewel, which is why it gives the sensation that the ring is “worn” or aged. With a new rhodium plating, which is usually not very expensive, the ring looks new again.
DO WE DO GOLD PLATING?
We do not usually work with gold plating because in the long run the gold wears off and we do not like the result of our jewelry to be lost over time.
This is why, in principle, we do not carry out this type of work.
WHAT TYPE OF SILVER DO WE WORK WITH?
We work with 925 silver, that is, sterling silver.
Sterling silver is that silver alloy that is 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper.
WHAT TYPE OF STONES DO WE WORK WITH?
As with the rest of the materials we work with, we look for very high quality stones, so that the final result is what the client desires.

BEAUTIFUL GEMS:
Ruby:
Its name comes from the Latin “ruber” which means red.
It is a type of corundum mineral, (same as sapphire), formed by mixing iron and chromium.
It is of great hardness, surpassed only by diamond.
Emerald:
Its name comes from Persian, which means green stone.
One of the favorites of royalty. One of the largest in the world belonged to the Russian Empress Catherine the Great.
There are several types of emeralds: Colombian, Brazilian, Chinese, African and Afghan.
They present different shades of green.
It is usually more delicate.
Sapphire:
Its name comes from Latin “sapphirùs” and also from Hebrew “chappir” which means neat.
Shares a family with ruby since they come from corundum. Corundum minerals of all colors are called sapphire, except for red, which is called ruby.
Black diamond:
The difference with the classic diamond is that in the composition of the black there is granite. They are also obtained through a heating treatment.
They did not become popular in the jewelry world until the late 90s.
SEMIPRICE GEMS:
Onyx:
It is a variety of dark-colored agate.
Its name comes from the Greek “onux” which means claw / nail.
Composed of silica.
It is of volcanic origin, from the accumulation of volcanic gases
Lapis Lazuli:
Its name comes from the Latin “lapis” and also from the Persian “lahzward”, which means blue.
Favorite of the pharaohs in Ancient Egypt. An example of this is Tutankhamun's funerary mask, made of gold and decorated with lapis lazuli or the famous scarabs.
Azurite is the powder that was obtained from this stone to be able to paint.
Cobaltcalcite:
It is a variety of calcite with a small cobalt content.
Its name comes from the German “kobalt” which means elf and the Latin “calx” which means lime.
Varies in color between light pink and strong fuchsia.
Topaz:
Its name derives from the Topazos island located in the Red Sea.
Sometimes it has been confused with the diamond, as in the case of the Braganza Diamond.
It is a very hard stone, but it fractures easily.
Turquoise:
Its name comes from the French, “pierre turquoise”, which means Turkish stone, since they believed that the stones came from Turkey, even though there are no turquoise deposits in Turkey.
It is not a very hard stone.
Uvarotiva:
Belongs to the garnet group
It was discovered in 1832 in the Urals and was named after Count Sergei Semenovitch Uvarov, a Russian mineral collector.
It is formed by small emerald green crystals that densely cover a matrix.
Tourmaline:
Its name comes from the Senegalese, “turmali”, which means mixed colored stone
It is not a single mineral, but rather a group of several minerals.

We only need you to send us a photo or sketch of what you would like, if you have the material to be able to do it and we will send you the best way to create a budget.
From the first proposal and budget, we can work until we find the exact part you are looking for.
JEWELRY RECYCLING
We can take advantage of your old jewelry, with emotional value, to restore it, fix it, improve it or even undo it and make something new and completely different from what it was. It is a 100% custom job, which requires a lot of time and effort but, without a doubt, is what we like to do the most!
CAN I BRING MY OWN JEWELRY OR MATERIAL?
Yes!! We can take advantage of your material to make new jewelry. Once the material has been analyzed, we will tell you if we can use it and if it is sufficient for the idea you have in mind.
CAN I BRING MY OWN SILVER?
No... We are sorry but the value of silver is not so high that it is profitable for us to analyze it piece by piece, melt it and create new jewelry...
Yes, we recycle silver from defective, old or broken products, but always in large quantities.
IS IT ESSENTIAL TO COME TO THE STORE IN PERSON?
No!!:) Although we always prefer a personalized visit behind closed doors to understand each other better, you can also talk by email / telephone and we can even make an appointment via Skype / Zoom.
DO YOU WORK WITH ALL TYPES OF STONES?
We work with precious and semi-precious stones. But that doesn't mean that if you bring us a stone with meaning for you, we can incorporate it into your new jewelry :)
